Students nurses have completed their project in the Dominican Republic working at a local hospital. They have returned home to continue their studies in the USA. The University required 40 contact hours of working with local medical staff in another country. The students will be receiving credits towards their degree in preparation for missionary service. Alicia Denney, who went to the Dominican Republic earlier this year has graduated from High School with honors, and is now enrolled in Nursing School at Ivy Tech.
Ron and Carol Baker have arrived in Tanzania, Africa where they will be working with the Children of Promise ministry. Ron
is serving as the Associate Director of WMA Missions. Ron and Carol
are deeply commited to missions and sharing the love of God.
Jim and Mary Nipp will be leaving for the Republic of Botswana, Africa in a couple weeks. They worked in Botswana for several years.
